ARW Information: Times for Wednesday

Dear Class,

These are the times for tomorrow:

10.10 - 10.20 Wagar Class Discussions: Noyuri, Shodai, Kazuto, Arisa, Tetsuro, Haruka.

(I will distribute evaluation forms) Submit your visual aids, discussion questions, & sample answers.

10.30 - 10.45 WP Essay #2: Seiko, Kazuto, Daichi, Group 1: Kenji & Kento (20 mins)

(I will distribute evaluation forms) Submit your visual aids, etc.

10.50 Return third drafts Essay #2.

10.55 Early finish/brief tutorials on Essay #2 (I am still not feeling well, but hopefully I will be feeling better by tomorrow).

In addition, following are some policies and principles you should keep in mind for this busy cycle of WPs and Class Discussions:

1. Punctuality. It is easy to lose concentration and time when someone arrives late and disrupts your session. Always do your best to arrive before class begins.

2. Attendance. Your classmates are central to the success of your session. And it is a simple
courtesy to attend classmates sessions. Classmates need to know they can rely on you.

Thank you,

Owen.

ARW Information: Homework 1/23 - two general reminders

Dear BF,

After just checking today the preparation of today's session leaders on Wagar, I want to confirm with you that the instructions do call for:
  • 3 discussion questions
  • Your sample answers on the back of the visual for each question
Also, as we head into a very busy week of WP Essay #2 sessions and Wagar sessions, a piece of general advice is to think of your visuals as information you can talk about,
not information (in words) to be read. If you find yourself reading your visuals, it almost certainly means that they are not visual enough. Visuals are mostly being done very well, however, this might help you make your visuals even more visual.

Bye for now,

Owen.
